Mission Statement
To deliver evidence-based, unbiased expert assessments and testimony that clarify the impact of FASD and related conditions, supporting fair and informed adjudication.
To deliver evidence-based, unbiased expert assessments and testimony that clarify the impact of FASD and related conditions, supporting fair and informed adjudication.
Our service exists to support robust and informed decision-making within legal, safeguarding, and tribunal settings. We recognise that individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and related neurodevelopmental conditions often present with complex cognitive, behavioural, and adaptive needs that may not be immediately visible or fully understood within traditional justice or social care processes. By offering specialist, neurodevelopmentally informed assessments and expert analysis, we help ensure that legal conclusions and adjudicative outcomes are both accurate and equitable.
Our work contributes to a fairer system by clarifying how neurodevelopmental impairments may affect functioning, behaviour, risk, capacity, responsibility, and engagement with legal processes. Through high-quality expert reports, consultation, and testimony, we support courts, tribunals, and instructing authorities in reaching decisions that are evidence-based and proportionate.
Above all, we are committed to assisting decision-makers at every stage of adjudication—providing clear, and impartial expert insightexpertexper.
